There are many different ways in which you can promote your mystery book, product or service on our sites, including advertising. Each of these is discussed in more detail below.

Author Online (Virtual) Book Tour

We were thrilled that the author for our debut online book tour described it as a "rousing success" and have organized several since then. Online tours are conducted on 10 book-related blogs and promoted on our own blog, (). Tours consists of a combination of book reviews, author interviews, and guest author posts on the host blogs.

Though we specialize in promoting mysteries, we are happy to coordinate tours for any fiction genre. Contact us at info@omnimystery.com for specific details on the services we provide as part of this tour, including an estimate of costs.

Advertising on Omnimystery News

On our blog, , which currently registers approximately 60,000 pageviews per month, 300x250 px banner ads can be placed near the top of the right-hand sidebar, with a maximum of two ads appearing on the site. Contact us at info@omnimystery.com for current rates.

Advertising on HSMB New Mysteries and The Mystery Bookshelf

We offer unique opportunities to advertise on our primary book shopping sites, The Hidden Staircase Mystery Books New Mysteries page (http://www.hsmb.com/newmysteries) and The Mystery Bookshelf (http://www.mysterybookshelf.com/). One banner ad space, which can be configured as either 300x250 px or 250x250 px, is available on each of these sites every month; it is exclusive to the page and remains on the page indefinitely. Priced at a one-time fee of $200, it is an effective way to draw attention to your book, especially if placed during its month of publication. In addition, purchase of either of these ad spaces entitles you to a 20% discount on all other advertising, excluding virtual book tours, for a period of 12 months following placement of your order.

Mystery Book Reviews

Our mystery book review website, () publishes original reviews of mysteries. Review summaries initially appear on our blog and then are subsequently indexed on Mysterious Reviews. More information on our review process can be found on our page. There is no charge to review books, though we do require a hard copy (or ARC) of the book; PDFs or other electronic formats are not currently reviewed.

Guest Blogging

You are welcome to guest blog on . We do not, however, provide open access to the blog for posts. All posts must be pre-approved prior to posting. We prefer original content, though that is not a requirement. There is no charge to guest blog on our site. We can also arrange to coordinate a giveaway of your book or other prize package in conjunction with your post, also without charge.

Mystery Author Interviews

This is something relatively new for us, and we're really just getting started. We have completed a few interviews that are accessible from our website. We provide a list of written questions to which the author responds. A short biography is also included. In addition to publishing the interview on our site, we will also provide excerpts on . There is no charge to be interviewed by us, though we strongly prefer to have reviewed one or more of the author's books prior to the interview.
